The Annual Running of the Beaver 5K Fun Run and Walk
After 2023’s exciting event, following a three-year hiatus, we are looking forward to returning to an even bigger event at Golden Gardens in 2024! Start training now so you can outpace Bucky bright and early on March 23, 2024! Registration opens Jan. 2, 2024!
The Running of the Beavers is a 5K Fun Run & Walk sponsored by the Ballard High School Foundation. Proceeds raised in the Running of the Beavers directly benefit Ballard High School Athletics, Cheer, Dance, & Performing Arts.
The run starts and finishes at beautiful Golden Gardens Park, going right along the Ballard waterfront on Seaview Avenue. You’ll enjoy stunning views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains on this fast, flat course. The finish will take you right by the famous Beaver Pond at Golden Gardens. Escape the city as you run/walk along the shores of Puget Sound and help raise funds for the Ballard High School Foundation.
