Events are our way to bring the community together, in support of Ballard High School students and programs

From the Annual Golf Classic and Celebrating All Things Ballard online auction and Salmon Barbecue event, to the Running of the Beavers and Breakfast of Champions, there are plenty of opportunities for you to show up and make a difference for Ballard High School students

The Annual Ballard High School Golf Classic For almost two decades, the yearly golf tournament is a great, fun event for Ballard High School supporters to come out, swing the clubs, and support Ballard High School. The Golf Classic usually happens in August, when the weather is the most beautiful! Also join us for the Dinner Of Champions the night before.

The Celebrating All Things Ballard online auction Held annually in the three weeks leading up to the Golf Tournament and Barbecue Salmon Dinner, offers a convenient opportunity to bid on exciting items for a great cause, simply by clicking your mouse or tapping on your smartphone.

The Salmon Barbecue Dinner and Auction event includes a delicious dinner in the picturesque and quintessential Ballard setting of Pacific Fishermen Shipyard. The dinner is the night before the Golf Classic and includes several special items up for bidding as well as a funded ask for a special need on behalf of Ballard High School students.

The Breakfast of Champions, scheduled for Saturday morning in the Ballard High School Commons on Homecoming Weekend, will feature the presentation of the inaugural Sue Stimac Verduin ’78 Woman of Impact Award. The fundraiser will also have a prominent keynote speaker who will help shine a light on Title IX and its impact on so many athletes across the nation, including those at Ballard High School. Student athletes (and coaches) will also be interspersed among the tables, sharing how athletics have benefitted, challenged and driven their high school experiences.

The Running of the Beavers annual 5K Fun Run/Walk is held each spring down at Golden Gardens. It’s a great way to spend a Saturday morning supporting Ballard High School, enjoying the fun flat course on Shilshole Avenue, and letting those competitive juices flow!
