Operating costs and other projects are paid for with these funds
This Annual Appeal is a primary means by which the Ballard High School Foundation has to operate. As such we hope you will again give serious consideration to a 100% tax-deductible donation to the Foundation so that we may continue these worthwhile efforts of serving students and teachers.
All non-profits have operating costs that need to be covered
The Ballard High School Foundation General Fund is intended to record all assets and liabilities that are not assigned to a special purpose, or restricted fund, such as GAINS. It provides the resources necessary to sustain the day-to-day activities and thus for all administrative and operating expenses of the Ballard High School Foundation. Your contribution to the Annual appeal goes to the General Fund and provides the working capital that funds an executive director, day-to-day operational costs such as database software and office supplies, and provides flexibility for us to fund other work and programs in support our mission
