Holiday Giving As An Annual Tradition

Bucky’s Home for the Holidays is a partnership between the Ballard High School PTSA and the Ballard High School Foundation, and the Teen Health Center and Ballard High School Staff.

Affectionately known as “Bucky’s”, the intent of this partnership is to provide gift card donations to Ballard High School community families in need of financial assistance to help with food and household essentials during the two week Winter Break, and to help celebrate the holiday season during the holiday season. The Ballard High School Foundation participates in Bucky’s by contributing it’s donation platform, and by paying the fees associated with monetary donations made there. We then convert those donations into gift cards that are donated to our BHS Community families in need.

The Foundation and PTSA partnership also make matching donations: $1000 from the Foundation and $2500 from the PTSA

Students may also bring their families’ gift card donations to the school office if that is the preferred method of giving. 

Started originally by the Ballard High School ASB, Bucky’s Home For the Holidays has a wonderful tradition of providing support to Ballard High School families for several years now. The Ballard High School Foundation (Tax ID #91-1811275) is proud to be a part of it. Your donation to Bucky’s Home For the Holidays will help assure that Ballard High School families who need a little help have a wonderful holiday season!
